Dave Storie – Lead Guitar/Vocals

Dave began playing in nightclubs at the age of 15, and continues to this day. His passion for the song and performance is powerful and evident. His songwriting has been the catalyst to share venues with such acts as The Allman Brothers Band, Robert Cray, Elvin Bishop, The Band, Bobby and the Midnights, The Fix, Ronnie Montrose, The Tubes, the New Riders and many others. Early influences Jimi, Eric and Carlos helped shape Dave's emotive anything-goes style. In addition to The Truth Machine, Dave is collaborating with bluesman Earl Thomas on a project of his original music.

Leo Gorcey – Rhythm Guitar/Vocals

Leo Gorcey played in numerous rock bands in Northern California in the 70’s, playing clubs in the Bay Area and Nevada before putting together an all-original touring band and traveling to such venues as The Troubadour in Los Angeles.  After launching a number of other L.A. music projects, Leo moved to New York, playing in clubs as an acoustic soloist. After a two-year stint in New York, Leo moved back to Los Angeles where he performed as a vocalist/guitarist and songwriter.  Leo and his wife, Krista, moved to Ashland in 2006.

GT Albright – Drums/Vocals

GT pumps out a solid and consistently dynamic groove that is the backbone of The Truth Machine. Staying tastefully nuanced with a perfect balance of the dance groove and the jam dynamic, his playing impacts the listener and sets the dancer’s feet into motion.  GT has collaborated with such top recording stars as Hall & Oates, Big Brother & The Holding Company and BB King.  He has performed at The Oakland Coliseum, The Cow Palace, and The Old Waldorf Theater in San Francisco. “GT is an excellent, expressive singer, a superb drummer and gets together some seriously tasty music…” Music Critic & Reviews: Tony Cummings – “Cross Rhythms Magazine”

Michael James -Bass/Vocals

Growing up in SoCal, Michael learned his chops playing in the "Hair" groups of the early 80's with his childhood friend Robin Crosby (Ratt).  He later moved to Humboldt County where he played with numerous artists, including the legendary Earl Thomas (Blues Ambassadors,) then to the Lake Tahoe area becoming a regular performer in the nightclubs and casinos.  There he shared the stage with artists such as Clarence 'Gatemouth' Brown, Dave Mason (Traffic) and Chris Hayes (Huey Lewis and the News).  After returning to SoCal and fronting the local band The Tonerators, Michael moved to the Rogue Valley in 2005.

Jack Latvala – Keyboards/Vocals

Jack is a long time musician and resident of the Rogue Valley.  For 10+ years he played weekly as a bluegrass guitarist and mandolin player in various groups around the valley.  In the late 80’s Jack focused on keyboard work and became highly regarded for his improvisational skills and great attitude.. He has since been a regular in many local musical groups.  In addition to his work with The Truth Machine, Jack plays weekly gigs with the Grateful Dead cover band Big Fun and was featured with The Jamlanders at the Guitar Center-sponsored Battle of the Bands..
